BEML ITI Trainee Jobs – Eligibility Details

Educational Qualification

• ITI Trainee: Candidates must have secured at least 60% marks in their ITI trade with a National Apprentice Certificate (NAC) from a recognized institution. Alternatively, a 3-year NAC as per the Apprenticeship Training Scheme (ATS) is also acceptable.
• Office Assistant Trainee: Candidates must hold a full-time graduate degree or a diploma in Commercial Practice/Secretarial Practice from a recognized institution. Additionally, proficiency in computer applications, with at least a six-month course approved by DOEACC, is required. Typing skills are also desirable.

Age Limit

• The upper age limit for ITI Trainee and Office Assistant Trainee positions is 32 years for General candidates, 35 years for OBC candidates, and 37 years for SC/ST candidates. Persons with Disabilities (PwD) are entitled to an additional 10 years of relaxation in the upper age limit.

Application Fee/ Registration Fee

• A non-refundable application fee of Rs. 200/- applies to General, OBC, and EWS candidates. SC/ST/PWD candidates are exempted from paying the application fee.

Selection Process

• ITI Trainee: Selection will be based on a Computer-Based Written Test and/or a Trade Test, as decided by BEML Management.
• Office Assistant Trainee: Candidates will be assessed through a Computer-Based Written Test comprising multiple-choice questions. The syllabus for the test will be made available before the examination.
